You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the Tactical Networks Department of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will serve as the principle business and financial advisor to the Tactical Networks Division Head (55100). You will manage, coach, mentor, supervise and technically lead a team of 1.2 competency financial personnel in a Research and Development Navy Working Capital Fund (R and D NWCF). You will provide advice and guidance concerning the appropriate usage of Direct, Overhead, and Naval Innovative Science Engineering (NISE) budgets based on financial regulations and policy. You will analyze Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and other financial data. You will participate in financial reviews that measure performance against plans, objectives, resources and expenditures and make recommendations based on analysis and evaluations of financial data.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating reports, statistical data, and other information to measure trends, business operations such as A11 budgets, procurement practices, or monitoring Navy Working Capital Fund targets and guidelines.
