You will serve as a Management and Program Analysis Officer (Senior ASW Advisor) in the Naval Education and Training Command ofSURFCOMSYSTRNCMD SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will serve as the Senior Tactical Instructor and Principal Advisor to the Commanding Officer, for identifying and assessing staff knowledge, simulator shortfalls and curriculum gaps.
You will plan, design, and develop critical content, scenarios, analysis, briefings, and studies related to ASW tactical training.
You will render frequent and enduring technical advice concerning development, training, execution, and evaluation of schoolhouse curriculum and training events.
You will direct execution and evaluation of training requirements in short- and long-range planning for the implementation and integration of and tactical ASW training.
You will provide training management design covering communications, documentation, integration and life cycle support for multiple surface force wide courses.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing planning, designing, and development of critical content, scenarios, analysis, briefing and studies related to tactical training; 2) Renders technical advice to site senior personnel concerning development, training, execution, and evaluation of curriculum and training events; 3) Evaluating training programs against evolving priorities to determine whether training program and policy objectives are being met; and 4) Confers with senior leadership and peer instructors to review status and progress, provide management guidance and direction, on overall performance and readiness for combat operations.
