You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the ISR 56000 DIVISION of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will analyze and provide advise to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations or the productivity and efficient of the management of Federal agencies or both. You will provide advice and guidance on a wide range of ISR topics and participate in Center and external IPTs relevant to ISR systems and applications. You will analyze, develop, update center and department strategic business plans and collaboratively work with other NIWC Pacific Portfolio Managers to support center portfolio initiatives.

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET-SCI security clearance.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 752 Advanced Level within 12 months of appointment.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing research, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, acquisition, and/or test and evaluation using innovative methods to ensure state of-the-art defense systems are delivered to Department of Navy (DoN) and Intelligence Communities (IC) programs.
