This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Division, Fleet & Family Readiness Department, Naval Air Station, Lemoore, California. The purpose of this position is to provide maximum availability of the Bowling center to a wide variety of Military personnel, dependents, retired personnel, authorized Department of Defense (DOD) civilians and contract personnel.

Duties

Plans, develops, organizes, supervises, coordinates and administers the day-to-day and continue operations of the Bowling Center, Bowling Pro-Shop and full service snack bar. Position requires irregular working hours. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: A professional knowledge of Bowling Center operation and ability to promote bowling. Knowledge of ABC, WIBC, YABA bowling regulations. Skill in effectively managing the financial and physical resources associated with the Center's operation. Through working knowledge of procedures, techniques and financial responsibilities related to the daily administration of the Bowling Center. Ability to supervise Ability to interpret and adapt all applicable policies, regulations and oral or written instruction in developing procedures, steps and methods to accomplish objectives. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English
