You will serve as a SENIOR PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT REPRESENTATIVE in the Public Works of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will serve as a Senior Performance Assessment Representative assigned to coordinate multiple regional contracts.
You will review Performance Assessment schedules and documentation for sufficiency and consistency of oversight.
You will assess contractor performance on Facility Support Contracts to validate the contractor’s services meet the contract specifications.
You will serve as a qualified specification writer for facility services to include, pre-award, Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE).
You may also be assigned as Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) as a collateral duty.
You will take PAW results for each month and prepares draft Monthly Performance Assessment Summary (MPAS) for review and approval by the COR or approves as COR.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Routine heavy lifting is not required; however, incumbent is required on occasion to do moderate lifting (15-40 pounds).
- Full use of hands and legs is required for climbing, good hearing (with an aid), and eyesight (with glasses) is required to perform a satisfactory job.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification and resolution of issues. 2) Assist in the development of contract specifications and reports. 3) Using technical and legal terminology of contracts involving Facility Services. 4) Applying contract administrative support procedures and regulations. 5) Able to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and architectural drawings. 6) Performing quality management principles and quality control/assurance procedures for the oversight of contracts.
