Duties

- Serve as the GEOINT Subject matter expert and tactical-to-operational planning for collection, analysis, and production in support of contingency, stability, and other operations. - Conduct and oversee GEOINT operations and activities. - Monitors and analyzes tactical-to-operational GEOINT reporting to identify threat networks, organizations, and illicit movement of materials that indicate a threat to the JTF-N AOR. - Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Qualifications

This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of GEOINT and intelligence operations with a knowledge of operational and tactical intelligence systems both Department of Defense and LEA in order to be able to advise senior leaders; knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in GEOINT (e.g. Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Measures and Signals Intelligence (MASINT), photogrammetry, cartography, remote sensing, and topography) in order to function as the subject matter expert; knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in intelligence research, intelligence operations (e.g. multi-mode collection methods and systems), intelligence analysis, and intelligence production in order to function as a technical advisor. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. AND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of GEOINT and intelligence operations with a knowledge of operational and tactical intelligence systems both Department of Defense and LEA in order to be able to advise senior leaders; knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in GEOINT (e.g. Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Measures and Signals Intelligence (MASINT), photogrammetry, cartography, remote sensing, and topography) in order to function as the subject matter expert. 2. Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in intelligence research, intelligence operations (e.g. multi-mode collection methods and systems), intelligence analysis, and intelligence production in order to function as a technical advisor; knowledge of CD/CTOC threat geography and operational characteristics. 3. Knowledge of the intelligence community mission, functions, and capabilities; knowledge of governing United States GEOINT directives. 4. Knowledge of security procedures concerning the classification and releasability of information. 5. Knowledge of military disciplines, functions, and procedures both doctrinally and experienced based. Highly effective analytical, research, verbal and written communication skills in order to create high-quality finished intelligence or products, present and defense activity positions, and serve as command representative at inter-and- intra-agency meetings. 6. Skill in oral and written communication; skill in cross-cultural interpersonal sensitivities. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED: A Top Secret/Special Sensitive clearance is required for this position. The employee is required to possess and maintain a Top Secret/Special Sensitive as a condition of employment. Per AFGM2017-36-04, dated 4 Oct 17, the investigative requirement CANNOT be waived for special sensitive positions. This position is designated by the Air force as a Test Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. As a mandatory requirement for employment in this TDP, the incumbent is (A) to refrain from use of illegal drugs and (B) if required, to submit to urinalysis testing. The selectee must sign a statement acknowledging the position occupied is identified as a TDP. Eligible for situational telework only, including Ad Hoc, Emergency, or OPM prescribed unscheduled telework. This eligibility is separate and distinct from employee's eligibility. A civilian employee arrangement may be terminated at the discretion of the supervisor or at the employee's request. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
