This position is with the NAS Enterprise Services Group under the Operations Support Directorate, AJW-1. The NAS Enterprise Services Group is responsible for providing second-level engineering support for NAS equipment, national software, hardware, and technical documentation.

Duties

The Computer Scientist performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/ program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. He/she is responsible for the design, development and integration of NAS software. Responsible for testing and evaluating software, identify areas for modification and develop the modifications.

At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H / FG/GS-10-12.
