About the Position: Serves as the full Deputy to the Chief, Programs, Planning, and Project Management Division (PPPMD). Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 179 days. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three (3) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a temporary appointment will be appointed/converted into a temporary appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

Duties

Participates in planning and administering activities of the Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division. Plans and coordinates work efforts, assigns and reviews work, resolves employee issues/complaints, selects new employees, sets performance standards, evaluates performance and recognizes employee accomplishments. Ensures all aspects of the ER 5-1-11 USACE Project Delivery Business Process are executed within the District through using predictive analysis and performance metric management analytics. Ensures that program issues are brought together, and recommends to the Division Chief a consolidated program which is consistent with activities of the subordinate Branches.
