Duties
Provide mission analysis for all TASKORDS and FRAGOs, actions, and directives received/assigned by higher headquarters, the CCoE and AFC/FCC Commanding Generals, Deputy Commanding Generals, C-CDID Director, and others as required for the C-CDID.
Report regular progress of operational matters to the Operations Branch Chief.
Conduct comprehensive functional and operational analyses of all directives, requirements, projects, and events utilizing the military decision making model and other organizational tools and practices
Coordinate and synchronize day-to-day US Army Futures and Concepts Center (FCC), Army Futures Command (AFC) operations for events and services.
Write Operations Orders (OPORDS) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOS), and Tasking Orders (TASKORDS), as needed
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Secret security clearance required.
- Business Travel (TDY) up to 20% of the time.
- May require a two-year probationary period.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 11) Writes, issues, and tracks Operations Orders (OPORDS), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOS), and Tasking Orders (TASKORDS); 2) Maintains oversight for the Director's and Master Events Calendar by scheduling, deconflicting, and synchronizing events.; AND 3) Coordinating exercise events among commands. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
