You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES SPECIALIST in the HUMAN CAPITAL MGMT DIV, COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will develop plans to eliminate barriers to equal employment opportunity (EEO).
You will advise managers and supervisors in the development of an organization's equal employment opportunity (EEO) program.
You will prepare correspondence or documentation for forwarding complaints for investigations, hearings, reviews, and appeals.
You will analyze alternative dispute resolution (ADR) program (e.g., usage, resolution rates, demographics, and other statistics) to determine its effectiveness.
You will maintain a complaints tracking system to ensure compliance with regulations.
You will develop the equal employment opportunity (EEO) training segments for new employee orientation, special awareness programs, manager or supervisory training.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing in-depth EEO advisory services (reasonable accommodation requests, case law decisions, sexual harassment, No Fear Act, Title 10 Investigations, barrier analysis, Acceptance/Dismissal letters, CFR 1614, American Disabilities Act (ADA). 2) Training and advising employees and supervisors on the EEO Complaint process in compliance with command policies. 3) Utilizing iComplaints, IRCMS, and FeDSEP in order to process formal complaints and analyze data to an assigned program. 4) Investigating complaints of discrimination from employees concerning improper policies and systematic practices. 5) Conducting conciliation sessions with the parties involved to attempt resolution of complaints.
