You will serve as an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY SPECIALIST in the Command Operations Department, Human Capital Management Division (HCMD) , Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Branch of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will serve as senior equal employment specialist, providing support to an industrial facility with employees in a wide array of occupations with considerable union activity.
You will make necessary recommendations to assure that all members or underrepresented groups have full and fair opportunity to compete for employment within the federal government.
You will serve as the EEO complaints manager for the command.
You will analyze and determine the acceptability of formal complaints.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: investigate individual equal employment opportunity problems; investigate complaints of discrimination from employees concerning improper policies and systematic practices; analyze data to an assigned program; develop and propose resolutions of a problem; work with diversity programs to promote diversity and structure; identify barriers to equal employment opportunity within the competency; interview complainants; counsel employees having discrimination complaints; process formal complaints; conduct conciliation sessions with the parties involved to attempt resolution of complaints; coordinate with management to negotiate settlements; monitor activities to access needs and compliance with command policies.
