You will serve as a POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (OMM) of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.
Duties
You will issue and enforce mail policies to commands.
You will analyze and track workload (volume/ type of mail), current mail handling procedures, and cost of operations, and assess the impact of additional workload on mail center operations.

You will monitor customer compliance with applicable mailing requirements and policies, identifies deficiencies, and works with customers to correct problems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing technical, analytical and Postal Operations work that demonstrates a knowledge of mail management and postal operations in order to insure efficient operation of the organization. I have experience analyzing mail practices and determining requirements of a mail management program. I also have experience assisting in the training/inspecting other employees on mail center functions. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Analyze and track workload (volume/ type of mail), current mail handling procedures, and cost of operations; 2) Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices affecting mail distribution/ handling (e.g., street addressing, bar coding, etc.) for local application; 3) Perform a variety of postal duties including acceptance, screening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail (USPS, FEDEX, UPS, DHL and other premium carriers); and 4) Train and inspect official and personal mail programs ashore.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
