This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for Serving as the first level supervisor and senior technical expert for the Enterprise Engineering Branch within the Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber Systems (C4S) Directorate.
Duties
This position is being filled under AcqDemo Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for non-acquisition positions involving 51% or more of time in direct support of acquisition positions within Business and Technical Management Professional Career path.
As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN) at the NH-2210-4 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Develops cyberspace plans, strategy and policy to support and align with organizational cyberspace missions and initiatives.
Designs, tests, and evaluates information systems throughout the systems development lifecycle. - Identifies cyber capabilities strategies for custom hardware and software development based on mission requirements
Ensures that acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
Develops solutions to highly complex problems requiring various disciplines
Requirements
- Duties of this position meet all requirements as a category 4 designation, and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization. This position must be removed from Ready Reserve and cannot be a member of the Ready Reserve.

required for the DoD position held, within six months of filling the position, IAW DoD 8140
- Travel and relocation expenses, if approved, will be paid IAW JTR and AFMAN 36-606
Qualifications
You may qualify at the NH NH-IV, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-III or GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Developing and applying new and emerging Information Technology data related technologies
Determining and overseeing technical and systems requirements
Prioritizing and allocating information technology resources correctly and efficiently
Providing leadership responsibilities including planning and assigning work and establishing overall priorities.
Supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
