About the Position: The position is located in the Hydroelectric Design Center (HDC).You will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of personnel management, preparation and control of correspondence , training, purchasing, records management, property management, contracting, card holder processing and administration, and travel and time and attendance within the Hydroelectric Design Center.
Duties
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the organizational staff, leadership, and administrative team.
Provide guidance and assist organization personnel on various administrative tasks such as personnel actions, preparation and control of correspondence , training, purchasing, records management, property management, etc.
Advise on administrative regulations, procedures, and processes governing the administrative management functions of the organization.
Apply a working knowledge and understanding of the organizational structure, staff, and it’s functions in order to coordinate, initiate, and provide personnel and administrative management support.
Initiate, monitor, and report on matters related to requests for personnel action for the office of the Director and the staff of their direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications GS-06:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) entering payroll data into an automated system; 2.) preparing travel requests and/or reimbursement or similar type payment vouchers and billing invoices; 3.) inputting, tracking or gathering data/information from various automated and non-automated systems; 4.) maintaining and tracking office property inventory, and/or 5.) reviewing business correspondence for proper formatting, spelling, and grammar. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-5).
Minimum Qualifications GS-07:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) maintaining an executive calendar; 2.) coordinating and tracking training for an organizational unit; 2.) tracking and monitoring personnel actions to ensure timely submission and completion; 3.) preparing travel orders & travel vouchers 4.) preparing purchasing and budget documentation; and/or 5.) developing business correspondence in draft and final form. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6).
Minimum Qualifications GS-08:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1. providing guidance to and advising organizational personnel on administrative matters such as travel, training, correspondence, timekeeping, employee benefits, property and supplies, and /or records management; 2.) training office personnel on the purchasing of supplies or services for an office using an authorized business purchase credit card 3.) preparing various administrative reports such as manpower, timekeeping, budget, travel, etc.; and 4.) providing training and guidance to personnel regarding standard organizational procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-7).
