You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Combat Development & Integration of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.

Duties

You will receive assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones and/or program issues under review and deadlines and timeframes for completion. You will participate in Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) collaborative capability development venues and provides Marine Corps perspectives, positions and/or assessments. You will ensure the Combat Development and Integration (CD I) strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to office personnel and integrated into the office's strategic goals, objectives, work plans, work products and work services. You will coordinate and synchronize with Marine Corps Subject Matter Expert support and participation in CJCS Working Groups, Functional Capability Boards, Joint Capability Boards, and the Joint Requirements Oversight Councils. You will support capability development activities of other Combatant Commands, Office Secretary of Defense, and Joint organizations ensure continuity of effort and cross fertilization of capabilities development.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TS with SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) account.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Virtual Secure Desktop / Joint Access Data Environment (JADE) / Secure Integration Cloud (SIC) account.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Capital Region (NCR) Courier Authorization card for the transport of TS/SCI documents.

Qualifications

GS-14 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) analyzing and/or evaluating the effectiveness of operating programs; 2) briefing seniors leaders of technically complex issues; 3) coordinating activities (i.e workshops, seminars, wargames, working groups, conferences, and integrated process team meetings and studies); and 4) coordinating and synthesizing guidance.
