You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the NAVY RECRUITING DISTRICT of NRD CHICAGO.
Duties
You will schedule, administer, score and transmit the officer tests to appropriate commands.
You will review records and process actions involving varied processes, such as applications for special assignments or schools, requests for reconsideration, resubmission, recall, entitlement and eligibility of personnel.
You will ensure officer applicants meet basic eligibility and program authorization requirements for specific programs.
You will interview personnel to obtain data and information as needed to complete records or to correct discrepancies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain personnel records; 2) Researching information in records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain records.
