About the Position: Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (OIB Requirements Program Specialist) in Army Materiel Command (AMC). AMC delivers logistics, sustainment, and materiel readiness from the installation to the forward tactical edge to ensure globally dominant land force capabilities.

Duties

Provide status updates and information to Industrial Operations Division (IOD) branch and division leadership on matters related to assigned OIB programs using written reports and presentations, and verbal communication, as appropriate. Support analysis of weapon systems acquisition plans and fielding timelines to identify future implications for assigned programs and related OIB operations. Apply knowledge and understanding of assigned programs to support and facilitate command audits, inspections, and findings resolution. Complete assigned taskers, supports branch or division operations as necessary, completes mandatory and/or developmental training, and participates in team meetings and events. Participate in long-range planning exercises for assigned depot programs to ensure future requirements are understood and documented.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires obtaining current AMC data analytics certification within 24 months of being placed in position.
