You will serve as a Program Manager in a Program Office of PEO CM and UAV JNT.
Duties
You will direct and oversee the execution of all work efforts necessary to meet the requirements specified in the program charter and other authorizing documents from higher authority.
You will provide management direction to all Integrated Program Team Leaders and to other personnel in government activities and contractor organizations who support the program.
You will develop and implement management policies, controls, and operating procedures for overall planning, direction, and timely execution of the program during all phases of the life-cycle.
You will analyze needs and requirements information necessary for the development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning.
You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost schedule and performance objectives.
You will make general business and technical management decisions for successful execution of programs.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Directing and overseeing the execution of all work efforts necessary to meet the requirements specified in the program charter and other authorizing documents from higher authority; (2) Providing management direction to all Integrated Program Team Leaders and to other personnel in government activities and contractor organizations who support the program; (3) Developing and implementing management policies, controls, and operating procedures for overall planning, direction, and timely execution of the program during all phases of the life-cycle; (4) Analyzing needs and requirements information necessary for development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning; (5) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost schedule and performance objectives; and (6) Making general business and technical management decisions for successful execution of the program and applying the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues.
