The selectee provides oversight of assigned programs to fulfill the mission, functions, projects, activities, laws, rules, & regulations which an agency is authorized & funded by statute to administer & enforce within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in the Department of Transportation (DOT). Incumbent exercise the use of delegated authority to supervise technical, administrative, and professional staff to carry out assigned program functions & services.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience providing direction, planning, policy standards and procedures to manage teams to execute application development projects using software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and System Development Life Cycles (SDLC) throughout the full project lifecycle to include risk management, configuration management, scheduling, reporting, and performance measurements.
Experience with leading and/or supervision of teams to administer to identify and lead IT modernization efforts using project management principles, processes, and guidelines within a department or agency to meet organizational requirements.
Experience administrative and technical supervision in managing cost-models (based on aggregated business requirements) to monitor and establish project budgeting and forecasting in a technology organization.
