About the Position: As Management Analyst for the Engineering and Construction Division, you will assist the Division Administrative Officer, Branch Chiefs, Resident Engineers, Section Chiefs, and Team Leaders in the accomplishment of various administrative and budgetary tasks. You will be responsible for duties related to providing assistance on a variety of administrative functions essential to the direction and efficient operation of the Division.
Duties
Provide assistance on a variety of administrative functions such as personnel administration, human resources, training, travel, and budget functions essential to the efficient operation of an organization.
Serve as a team lead for the Branch administrative personnel, responsible for assisting with training team members and workload management of branch administrative tasks.
Provide support for a variety of administrative/management services essential to the direction and operation of the Branch such as assisting in studies, statistical reports, preparation of personnel actions, and tracking performance evaluations.
Serve as liaison between supervisors, administrative officer, budget and office staff as well as other organizations within the District.
Assist the Administrative Officer in development and maintenance of staffing plans and goals, and with input to measurement charts, resource management spreadsheets, data collection, and other management tools.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in a variety of administrative areas including preparing and tracking various documents using automated systems, preparing and submitting personnel actions, tracking training requirements, timekeeping procedures, and/or travel order and voucher preparation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Accounting, Business Management, Human Resources, etc.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
