About the Position: Serves as a Capabilities, Modernization and Simulation Specialist for Medical Center of Excellence(MEDCoE), Directorate of Simulation (DoS) located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Develops/writes all or portions of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents impacting the Proponent areas. Prepares directives promulgating the conduct and coordination of applicable programs. Manages programs and activities required for the attainment and sustainment of internal and external certifications and accreditation of MMS and MedSim facilities and activities. Compiles reported improvement requirements, analyzes their feasibility, and develops implementation concepts.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Travel duty requirement up to 20% of the time.
  • Must maintain and obtain Secret background investigation.
  • This position is designated as Key position.
