About the Position: This position is located in the Test Support Division, G6 Directorate, United States Army Operational Test Command (USAOTC), Fort Cavazos Texas and is responsible for providing audiovisual production, photography, digital imaging, printing services, and other services in the visual information mission area. Duties
Provide audiovisual information products in support of testing activities conducted by United States Army Operational Test Command (USAOTC).
Produce printed products such as signage, maps, charts, and graphics in support of test team operations and activities.
Perform field photography and video recording in direct support of tests conducted in Continental United States (CONUS) or Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.
Deliver quality products to test teams for use in data analysis, test reports, and for Command historical documentation purposes.
Develop a comprehensive database of visual information, including in-house generated computer graphics, and subject matter information.
Select recording media and determine techniques for optimum documentation of test activities.
Use photo and video editing software to correct, enhance, and adjust images and recordings into a unified and coherent product.
Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and submit purchase requests to replenish stock.
Requirements
- Incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Incumbent will be required to complete training/certification for operating tactical vehicles (HMMVW) access to some locations may be by tactical vehicle only.
- This position requires the incumbent to pass a pre-employment physical examination and annual physical thereafter.
- This position is subject to a one year probationary period.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or specialized experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing digital imaging software for editing and creating photos, videos, and audio products for use in communicating information through visual means in combat camera or related experience capturing still and video imagery to document military equipment or systems, movement of personnel and/or other activities in an operational environment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
