You will serve as a in the You will serve as a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST in the OFFICE of the SECRETARY of the NAVY ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION, GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE BRANCH of OFFSECNAV WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will receive and review incoming correspondence, instructions, and manuals to determine appropriate action.
You will continually track the progress of documents and directives to ensure that all action items are properly staffed, and deadlines are met.
You will analyze, review, and process prepared correspondence for final review and managerial signature, reviewing for procedural and grammatical correctness, conformance with general policy, factual accuracy, and proper staffing.
You will provide customer service in the area of correspondence processing and tracking, records management and act as the liaison between the action offices.
You will work with the Records Center on the maintenance and disposition of records and files.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in receiving and reviewing incoming correspondence for procedural and grammatical correctness and process prepared correspondence for final review and managerial signature.
Experience in entering data into a correspondence tracking system to track the progress of documents and directives to ensure all action items are meeting command deadlines.
Experience in Providing customer service in the areas of correspondence processing and tracking and records management.
Experience in maintaining files in accordance with business policies and guidelines.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. The major study of such education is in public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled.
