You will serve as a Program Manager in the Special Projects Division of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will provide leadership, direction and coordination; and makes critical decisions on matters relating to management and outcomes.
You will Interface and serve as liaison with industry (Outreach), Team Orlando Partners and the NavalX community.
You will serve as subject matter expert regarding Tech Grove communications (both internal and external), Government vs Industry roles and efficiencies within the team, and effective business practices.
You will assist in defining and evaluating appropriate performance
metrics.
You will be responsible for development of conflict resolution process to improve team
communication of timely and material information.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DA-05=GS-12/13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following:
1) Experience in Outreach and have a working knowledge of Team Orlando Partners and the NavalX community; 2) Liaison and effective communicating (both internal and external); experience with Government vs Industry roles and efficiencies within the team and effective business practices; 3) defining and evaluating appropriate performance metrics; 4) providing conflict resolution process to improve team communication of timely and material information; 4) experience with fostering cross department understanding of optimizing procurement processes to make it easier for non traditionals to bring new solutions from industry and creating a more diversified defense industrial base; 5) expertise in management to include the IPT leadership and effective management practices.
