About the Position: Plans, directs, controls, and coordinates the development, integration, promulgation, and implementation of DOD, Army and AMC new and evolving systems and existing automated logistics management systems. This position is located in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Duties

Plan, direct, control and coordinate the development, integration, synchronization, and implementation of the Total Equipment Management Strategy. Provide overall Army redistribution and divestiture analysis for Army Structure Changes, realignments, and global posturing initiatives. Coordinate distribution, redistribution, and modernization of equipment in support of the Army Equipping Enterprise. Brief executive level management and Army Senior Leaders on any aspect of assigned areas of responsibility and provide recommendations, serve on special committees, boards, panels, and groups. Maintain personal contact with functional and systems development representatives, other services, Army Staff, and Command level to obtain and disseminate logistics information, equipping analysis, and distribution and divestiture assessments.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
