As a/an Supervisory Account Executive, you will:
Market the FHA insurance program to the health care facility industry.
Process complex applications for insurance and coordinating review. This includes negotiating with applicants to arrive at terms acceptable to FHA, monitoring the activities of health care facilities to assess financial performance and compliance, and evaluating the risks each institution poses to FHA.
Assist lenders and health care programs with routine business activities including interpretation of FHA guidelines.
Identify and assist troubled health care programs or health care facilities in danger of becoming troubled.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Working with FHAs healthcare programs and underwriting practices related to Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Section 232, Federal mortgage insurance program; AND
- Experience with financial and operational factors relating to long-term residential care facilities that may expose a potential debt insurer to risk.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
