The Gateways Internship Program serves as one of the agency’s succession planning programs intended to assist in the need for leadership continuity by employing outstanding students that are enrolled in a major that leads to a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM). The Program provides students in accredited colleges and universities, with paid opportunities to explore federal careers while completing their education.

Duties

We are looking for highly motivated student interns to serve as a student trainee within the Information Technology, AIT Organization.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• This position has a positive education requirement. Transcript(s) required.

Qualifications

FV-C: To qualify for the FV-C, you must be currently enrolled full time or at least half time in an accredited educational institution (college, university, vocational school, trade school, etc.) and show completion of 1 full academic year of post-high school study. Full or half time enrollment is defined by your educational institution.Degree Requirement: course of study leading to a degree.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.If the Agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed. If the selection list is shortened to a best qualified list through a comparative process, then the best qualified list shall be considered to be the selection list.

Education
