This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA - Business & Technical Management Career Path (AcqDemo only) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Perform as the Test SME for Tactical applications in SEC C3T Mission Command Division, Engineering Support Branch
Duties
Supports senior staff as required and ensures customer requirements and project milestones are met.
Perform hands-on integration and testing of software with target hardware in the loop and for interfacing with various disciplines including system engineering, software engineering, and configuration management staff and groups.
Update and maintain scripts to address business and technical use cases.
Update and maintain Test Reports and Test Plans.
Manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management foundational certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position requires Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of appointment in accordance with DoDD 8140.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.

In addition to the competencies, one year of specialized professional experience to include: 1) Managing Division test events for software releases to include collaboration with Project Leads, Team Leads and Branch Chiefs. 2) Providing input to test plans utilizing task management systems such as JIRA to include drafting test reports and test procedures. 3) Utilizing the Platform Engineering Branch (PEB) family of systems to include Field Support System (FSS), Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P) and Mounted Mission Command (MMC-S).
