This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-03 position is assigned to EO, C3T PMO I2S (6MJ) PDM CPI2 located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties

Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist concerned with directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). Responsible for cradle to grave intensive logistics management to support complex, major weapon systems from concept through field deployment. Perform the full range of planning, liaison, contract monitoring, equipment and organizational interface, control of other government elements supporting the effort and logistics phases of field exercises and tests. Support includes the management and interface with logistics element managers, contract support services, training facilities, Integrated Logistics Support Management organizations.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

Specialized experience is defined as the following duties: 1) Implementing regulatory guidance to provide product support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and/or Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems; 2) Coordinating with other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) teams to plan and execute materiel fielding and property transfers adhering to audit readiness processes; and, 3) Planning, budgeting, or coordinating sustainment strategies to enable materiel readiness for the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
