Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Management and Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience with a wide variety of sensitive and complex duties involving analytical, coordinative, advisory, and consultative services on a wide range of program operations, administrative, financial and management issues to optimize business results and customer experience by: Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting the established goals and objectives of the office. Providing technical assistance and guidance to staff on program operations for effective implementation of office goals and priorities. Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting new or proposed regulations to determine the impact on program operations. Providing staff assistance in the development of strategies and implementation plans for special projects and/or initiatives related to program operations.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service performing at least 3 of the following: Assist executive level management in developing recommendations for modifying, revising, or implementing procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations. Review, analyze and interpret new or proposed regulations to determine the impact on program operations. Draft recommendations for implementation of new or proposed procedures for use by management. Work with senior analysts and assist in drafting policies and procedures for program operations and/or administrative issues. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
