The End User Services Branch provides support for complex user issues that cannot be resolved by USTP's Help Desk contract support team. The group provides high-performing service support functions, including the IT Service Desk, comprising desktop support, VIP support, mobile devices, and laptop imaging. The Branch Chief serves as a program manager, overseeing a series of ongoing projects in these different areas of specific expertise. The group assures high level of customer service, identifies new training solutions, and incorporates new technology and tasks as appropriate. The group applies information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of customer support services.
As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) GS - 2210 - 15, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Identify and implement ways to improve productions and increase the quality of the work.
Provide technical advice and assistance to resolve problems.
Ensure the application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of support services.
Research, evaluate, and provide feedback on problematic trends.
Oversee the provision of end-user services such as device support, desktop infrastructure, application delivery, and change management.
Ensure direct reports receive and implement information security and cybersecurity directives.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) at (GS-2210-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade.
Basic Qualifications (2210 series):
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
AND
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing, planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing mission-critical IT services and systems.
