Duties
Provides direct oversight of food/bar operations of an assigned food service facilities, normally involving the performance of complex club management functions. Reports to the MCCS Director. Manages and oversees food/bar operations, both direct and indirect, in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines. Serves as technical analyst in the development, planning, training, managing, and oversight for the food and beverage operations. Participates in the development, execution, and compliance of policy, operating and financial standards, marketing promotions, facility design, food concepts, and training programs. Identifies and recommends changes in operating procedures where necessary to ensure desired results are obtained. Using technical skills and knowledge, analyzes current installation food and hospitality programs, facilities and equipment, personnel abilities, and financial results of operation and offers recommendations for change and improvements. Analyzes Profit and Loss statements of food cost centers and managers payroll, food cost and expenses to achieve financial budgets. Performs assistance visits to installations on an as needed basis to monitor programs, implement new procedures and programs, conduct training, and evaluate controls. Serves as management consultant on food and beverage, issues to commanders, MCCS Directors, and food and beverage operations personnel.

Qualifications
Four years of work experience in the commercial food and beverage industry that demonstrates the knowledge of business practices, program management, financial principles, branded concepts, and administration procedures. Must have the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of policies, procedures, promotions, and installation programs. Must be willing to travel. Must possess oral and written communication skills. A Bachelor¿s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field or equivalent experience is desired.
