Duties
Responsible for management control and efficient operation of multiple lodging revenue generating facilities, Inns of the Corps Hawaii and Marine Lodge- Five Palms with 184 rooms. Implements new policies or innovative promotions that can increase room occupancy, deliver quality guest service while maintaining the required level of profitability. Develops and implement strategies/procedures to ensure safety and security of patrons. Drives business by promoting the facilities and services for use and repeat visits utilizing the four elements of the marketing mix.Maximize profit by striving for the optimum occupancy rates and by achieving the best rate for all rooms sold on a daily basis. Promotes total guest satisfaction by addressing the complaints, answering inquiries, and resolving problems that guests may have encountered. Develops and maintains close relationships with industry professionals, MCCS Support Divisions, and direct/indirect vendors to ensure that the guests' expectations are met.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field appropriate responsible for management control appropriate to the work of position AND FOUR years of managerial experience in the hotel industry that demonstrates knowledge of business practices, program and financial management, branded concepts and administrative procedures that are relative to the food and hospitality industry, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. A Certified Hotel Supervisor designation is preferred. Ability to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of policies, procedures, and operational programs. Must demonstrate skills in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing. Must demonstrate the ability to deal effectively with supervisors, subordinates, vendors and the public.
