About the Position: This Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist position is assigned to the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T), PMO I2S, Readiness Management Division, located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Duties
Assess and provide strategic direction for resolution of mission-critical problems, policies, and procedures.
Optimize, control, and manage all resources across projects/programs. Develop and integrate innovative approaches to attain goals and minimize expenditures.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and selective considerations of the difficulties of assignments and capabilities of employees.
Evaluate performance and give advice, counsel or instruction to individual employees on both work and administrative matters.
Assess and promulgate, fiscal, and other factors affecting customer and program/project needs.
Review and approve all logistics related elements of Materiel Fielding, Memorandums of Understanding, Memorandums of Agreement, Inter/Intra Service Support Agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Serve as a senior specialist, advisor, and representative on materiel fielding, new equipment training, platform integration, and field support services.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for Advanced certification in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- Business travel required up to 25% of the time.
- Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) and requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2889 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Product Support Management or Integrated Logistics Management to include Supply Support, Material Release and Type Classification, as well as Transition to Sustainment planning and execution 2) New Materiel Fielding, New Equipment Training, Field Support Services, and unique vehicle installations and/or 3) Managing program budgets through forecasting, programming, planning and execution of various types of sustainment funding. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-13 equivalent.
