About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Radiology at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

Duties

Perform duties pertaining to the procurement, receipt, storage, care, preservation, issuance, and accountability of medical supplies and equipment and non-medical supplies and equipment. Manage hand receipt, ranging in the millions of dollars, for Hand Receipt Holder to include assist with semi-annual inventory. Keep Administrative officer informed on status of budget for supplies and minor equipment. Establish supply level based on past experience. Prepare all purchase request for non-standard supplies and equipment for local purchases to include service contracts for professional services.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
