About the Position: This Management Analyst is located at the Operational Test Command (OTC), G6, Customer Support Division with duty location of Fort Cavazos, Texas. Duties

Serving as a management analyst you process all Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act requests and reports the requests as required. Serve as the Contract Officer Representative (COR) for numerous wireless contracts and the command's copier contract in support of test teams and OTC operations. Responsible for the planning and execution of the command's printing and publication program. Serve as the single Records Management Officer for entire command, advising the command on all matters related to records management, specifically the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) and performs inspections. Serve as the directorate representative for the Management Information Control Program. Serve as a procurement specialist to the Customer Support Division and to the G6 Directorate. Serve as the Official Mail Room Manager ensuring proper operation of the facility. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME), advising installation and senior leadership on organizational supply management.

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5%.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret (T3) security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Serving as a Records Coordinator adhering to records standards such as Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) standards; 2) Processing Privacy Act or Freedom of Information Act requests; 3) Managing resources to fulfill program requirements and improve procurement processes; 4) Serving as a credit card holder for a branch or division and 5) Providing supply and service support to military, government civilian, and/or contractor personnel within the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration or Business Management. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts for verification). OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
