About the Position: This position is located in the Programs and Project Management Division at the New England District. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (USACE) New England District is responsible for managing the Corps' civil works and military program responsibilities in a 66,000-square mile region encompassing the six New England states east of the Lake Champlain drainage basin.
Duties
Advise management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of assigned program(s) which may include a variety Civil Works Military and Reimbursable Programs for the New England District.
Monitors and analyzes budgets, schedules, and cost estimates for studies, projects and program activities.
Continuously reviews and analyzes execution progress for assigned studies and projects comprising of a program in conformance with authorized, approved, and funded work, including subsequent changes.
Operate management information systems, i.e. Project Management Information System (P2) and Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS)
Serves as analyst and advisor on assigned program(s) such as (I, C, O and M, REG, FCCE, IIS and/or MILCON)
Reviews, analyzes, coordinates, develops, and prepares final budget year programs, justifications,and data for testifying officers substantiating requests.

- Valid Driver's License required within 30 days of employment. Must be able to maintain a valid Driver's License.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting two of the following: (1) analyzing budgets, schedules, or cost estimates for studies, projects and/or program activities; (2) making adjustments to an organization's budget within established guidelines; (3) coordinating project information with others; and/or (4) analyzing project or program data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
