This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This NH-0346-03 position is located with Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Orlando, Florida 32826.
Duties
Serve as the Lead Specialist directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for Acquisition Category designated programs.
Manage the processes of planning, directing, managing, monitoring, and evaluating and correcting deficiencies in IPS throughout the life cycle of a system.
Coordinates with representatives of other commands, DoD components, and contractors concerning complex issues and their impact on requirements.
Requirements

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectee must meet position requirements for (L) Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position based on experience your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Provide regulatory guidance for product support strategies of material acquisition programs using the integrated product support process/elements in the regulations; 2) Develop and author logistics products/documents including the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Materiel Fielding Agreement (MFA), Contracting documentation, and Acquisition documentation that document the fielding and sustainment strategy for materiel acquisition programs ; and 3) Plan, budget, and coordinate product support and sustainment strategies for material acquisition programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02) or GS-11.
