Duties

What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) and will lead, direct, and implement cyber assessments for FEMA. Typical assignments include: - Creating dashboards and reports detailing cybersecurity risk and leading presentations and meetings. - Reviewing security authorization packages. - Creating and reviewing security assessment plans, and security assessment reports and overseeing assessment teams. - Creating and reviewing scan authorizations, and rules of engagements. - Conducting penetration tests and creating and reviewing penetration testing reports. - Creating and reviewing SOPs to document the assessment processes. - Conducting vulnerability scans, identifying false positives. - Reporting on the status of vulnerabilities to agency stakeholders. - Working with system stakeholders to patch vulnerabilities.

To qualify for this position at the GS-14 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
