About the Position: The incumbent will serve as an Operations Support Assistant (O/A) for the 434th Field Artillery Brigade, Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Duties

Ensures training schedules are synchronized to meet all requirements. Processes travel related transactions in an automated defense travel system to ensure approval of authorizations and vouchers. Updates the organizational standard operating procedures regarding the use of the digital training management system.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Processing transactions using an automated travel system to ensure approval of authorizations; 2) Synchronizing all training schedules to ensure completion of all mandatory training; and 3) Conducting in processing to provide soldiers with information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as business administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailClericalManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
