About the Position: Fort Eisenhower is in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) and future headquarters of ARMY CYBER COMMAND (ARCYBER). It is approximately 142 miles east of Atlanta, 80 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina and 122 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia.

Duties

Leads implementation of new ideas, processes, methods of substantial scope and complexity in areas of short/long range strategic planning. Manage high visibility efforts involving strategic business planning and/or program integration. Conduct management analysis reviews that influence policy decisions involving garrison management. Determine strategic development methodologies to address how the organization defines and develops its view of the future and how to translate the strategic direction into actionable key business drivers. Lead staff to make recommendations for process improvement and analysis of processes for problem areas and solution.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) serving as the principal Strategic Planning Officer to plan, develop, and monitor implementation of plans, policies, and procedures for Garrison to assist with organization improvements; 2) providing means of measuring process improvements; 3) achieving quantum improvements in organization efficiency and effectiveness; 4) conducting management analysis reviews which influence policy decision; This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
