You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Conventional Prompt Strike (SPC) of CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will Provides direction, management, and oversight of efforts related to the established Technology Insertion.
You will make recommendations for actions when adjustments or a different course of action is necessary.
You will draft and implement guidance and direction regarding program management and reporting.
You will plan and initiate technical and schedule reviews to ensure alignment of activities to meet schedule, risk, and cost objectives.
You will serve as the project integrator, identifying seams and issues within the assigned project and between projects, ensuring they are addressed.
You will provide team building and any other training as required.
You will develop detailed plans, tasks, milestone dates and schedules to ensure proper sequencing of events and tracking of processes, schedule, risk, and costs throughout the life cycle of the programs/projects.
You will report to SPC periodically on team/work accomplishments, risk identified, status of TI and additional requirements.
You will lead meetings of assigned Project Officer Team, stakeholders, and partners to determine program status, milestones, and coordination of each to detect in advance potential slippage, increased costs, or increased technical risk.
You will coordinate program level meetings and develops appropriate agendas for all supporting program groups ensuring program information is disseminated.
You will analyze, evaluate, and prepare program briefs, reports and correspondence.
You will draft, analyze, integrate, review, and provide recommendations to Senior Strategic System Programs/Navy Conventional Prompt Strike Leadership for milestone and other documentation in accordance with Government, DOD and Navy regulations.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating/leading a multi-discipline product team, providing technical direction and performing management activities, and planning and managing design, development, testing, evaluation, deployment, and support of complex technical systems.
