About the Position: This International Program Integration Specialist position is assigned to Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, Project Manager Soldier Warrior or Project Project Manager Soldier Lethality, located at Multiple locations. Duties

Responsible for cost, scheduling, and performance in all phases of assigned programs to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case requirements definition, development, testing, qualification, acquisition, fielding, and sustainment. Establish short and long-range program objectives, requirements, schedules, and courses of action to assure programmatic requirements and objectives are met. Manage the status of programs, budgets, costs, schedules, and accomplishments, and take appropriate action to correct deficiencies and improve status. Interface with leadership to gain and maintain support for the assigned programs and to develop project office support for international programs. Visit industrial facilities, government agencies, and higher headquarters for the purpose of ensuring proper and adequate program accomplishments. Serve as a technical leader, providing technical direction to a group of positions which involve various areas of systems engineering and international expertise.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Selectees must meet position requirements for Practitioner certification in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
  • Business travel required up to 20% of the time.
  • Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • This position requires the incumbent to possess, or obtain and maintain, a valid regular or official U.S. Passport.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03 or GS-13).
