This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Assistant Commissioner Fiscal Accounting. As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will supervise a workforce which is staffed primarily by financial system analysts and accounting technicians. You will plans, assign, and determine priorities of work to be accomplished by subordinates.
Duties
As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
Plan, assign. and determine priorities of work to be accomplished by subordinates, define performance standards and evaluate performance of those directly supervised and provide technical and administrative guidance and instruction to employees.
Review, revise, and initiate controls over the processing of data through various systems to assure accurate operation and output for both automated and manual accounting systems.
Participate in conferences, projects, and training seminars to foster continuous learning and development to effectively address proposals, revisions, requirements that affect operations and security to assess their actual or potential effectiveness in achieving desired objectives.
Serve as an advisor to management officials on matters involving the composition, requirements, operations, and security compliance of Fiscal Service applications.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Managing and maintaining financial systems (e.g. serving as an administrator, performing system testing, conducting training, making recommendations for improvements, etc.); AND
Participating on a team to accomplish a project or assignment defined by management; AND
Writing reports or papers in order to justify or support decisions (e.g. system requirements, security assessments, audit responses, impact analysis, etc.)
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
