Duties
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Information Management Lead position provides management and oversight of the following business operations: suspense/tasker process, web development team, and policy development and maintenance. Provides direction and assistance to subordinates in the completion of taskings from within the component and from the agency. Trains newly assigned personnel on the business operations of the organization. Manages component correspondence to and from the front office, through the tasker system. The selectee should have organizational knowledge to oversee the smooth daily operations of taskers and assist subordinate offices as required, working with Components and stakeholders to ensure that tasks are tracked to completion and that an appropriate response is sent to the external requestor. This position requires that the incumbent is skilled in both written and verbal communication, possesses a strong attention to details and is capable of working independently and in coordination with others. Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Demonstrated ability to remain organized and/or detail-oriented and/or flexible, and to pursue all matters with an appropriate sense of urgency by using tools such as tasker tracking systems, SharePoint, Human Resource Information System, and/or the Microsoft Office suite.2. Demonstrated experience understanding correspondence and task management process, following policy, or participating in formal documentation reviews.3. Demonstrated experience with the management of forms at an agency level.4. Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management or external organizations in representing an office to internal or external customers. 5. Demonstrated experience building data reports and/or pivot tables and/or pie charts using large volumes of data.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Management, Economics, Finance, Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in the provision of program management and oversight, policy and resource management, budget allocation and execution, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in the provision of program management and oversight, policy and resource management, budget allocation and execution, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Demonstrated ability to achieve multiple high priority tasks under time-sensitive circumstances.2. Demonstrated ability to work across multiple agency-level divisions or offices.3. Demonstrated experience using Sharepoint or web development tools.4. Demonstrated understanding of records information management process and the establishment and maintenance of an office file plan. 5. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to review processes for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. 6. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in presenting complex information to decision makers.
