About the Position: Provide advice and guidance on difficult issues involving current and future logistics concept development capabilities in support of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC).and its subordinate commands.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive studies and prepares written reports in coordination with other concept development stakeholders to determine Future Force logistics concepts and required capabilities.
Brief Senior Leaders on logistics concepts development problems and trends.
Integrate Concept Development and Learning actions within AMC Headquarters and Major Subordinate Command (MSC) into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of future logistical concept development.
Participate in the development and/or review of logistics concepts and future plans based on analysis during experimentation, attendance at conferences, temporary duty assignments, and interviews with subject matter experts and working groups.
Coordinate and synchronize logistical concept development internally and externally among capabilities, Development and Integration Directorates in other Centers of Excellence.
Requirements

- Secret security clearance.
- Data analytics certification within 24 months of job entry.
- Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced level, within 4 years of job entry.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Participating in the development and/or review of logistics concepts and future plans based on analysis; Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics concepts development programs and/or operations; and Military planning policy and concepts, wartime/emergency logistics doctrine and organization, and planning systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
