About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Serves as a Lead Logistics Management Specialist.
Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services.
Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
Monitors and reports on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality have been met.
Interfaces daily with personnel from Headquarters Army Material Command, Logistics Integration Agency and/or HQDA for the purpose of establishing, interpreting, and defining governing policy and related functional process systems requirements.
Identifies significant problems associated with support status; evaluates problems; and develops and proposes a position aimed at resolving the difficulty or minimizing its adverse implications on associated items and milestones.
Serves as the principal source of information on logistic matters for the assigned system(s), responsible for keeping the Project Manager and Readiness Functional Directors informed of ILS acquisition status of assigned programs.
Requirements

- U.S. Citizenship is required. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Advanced certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) developing integrated logistics support and procurement documentation to include reviewing and analyzing documentation; 2) performing and/or advising on property and facility management; and 3) preparing oral briefings and/or developing written reports, position papers, policies.
