About the Position: Position is located at White Sands Test Center, XO/Mission Support Dir, White Sands Missile Range, NM. White Sands Missile Range provides Army, Navy, Air Force, DoD, and other customers with high quality services for experimentation, test, research, assessment, development, and training in support of the Nation. WSMR is located in the Tularosa Basin of New Mexico. The headquarters area is 30 miles east of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and 45 miles north of El Paso, Texas. (Merit).
Duties
Serve as a Senior Logistics Management Specialist assisting G-4 with execution planning, development, coordination, review, analysis, and implementation of logistics requirements.
Coordinate logistical requirements at Test Center directorate and division levels and achieves consensus regarding proposed plans of action.
Manage CTA/TDA/MTOE equipment by determining source of supply, availability, interpretation of basis of issue.
Subject matter expert on internal day-to-day supply and logistical operations and governing logistical regulations and guidelines
Serve as the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) TMDE Program Manager and Senior Mission Commander’s representative for TMDE activities.
Evaluate local regulations/operating procedures for modernizing, purchasing, registration, identification, turn-in, calibration and control of TMDE.
Conduct logistical emergency mobilization and master planning/contingency planning for the G4 in support of ATEC WSMR overall plan.
Serve as the White Sands Missile Range Equipment Manager and ensures the Equipment Utilization Management Plan (EUMP) is within the guidelines of established policies and procedures.
Prepare a variety of staff papers, messages, memorandums, G4 plans, policies and programs.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience planning, implementing and administering Logistics Management Programs such as: Asset Visibility, Fleet Management and Equipment Management, Equipment Maintenance Management or Procurements efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
