You will serve as an IT Specialist (IT Project Manager) in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, DITAC Dept of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will Oversee the day-to-day technical operation, maintenance, and security of the program’s IT architecture and cybersecurity strategies and recommend solutions to program leadership regarding technical and/or organizational challenges.
You will maintain consistent, clear, and continuous communication with all IFL team members and leadership, identifying areas of risk or concern early and often.
You will direct and mentor a diverse team specializing in configuration and data management (CDM), facilities management, network administration, system administration, information security, COMSEC, and high-performance computational engineering.
You will plan, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments for the team based on program priorities, and collaborate with other IFL teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and products are delivered on schedule.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802, proficiency level A- Advanced, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DS-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a IT Specialist (IT Project Manager). Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Performing work related to Information Technology security policies and constraints; (2) Preforming work related to contracting requirements, configuration, and data management; and (3) Utilizing cybersecurity strategies and recommending solutions regarding technical and/or organizational challenges.
