You will serve as a IT Specialist (CUSTSPT) in the Knowledge Management Office of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will participate in business process analyses and formulate improvement solutions.
You will be responsible for SharePoint administration and SharePoint application development.
You will prepare informational papers and presentations.
You will conduct SharePoint user training.
You will assist personnel with application development in the SharePoint environment.
You will conduct analysis of installation and/or staff business processes.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing training, policy guidance, and application development support for SharePoint and GIS website(s) AND advising management on information management problems and recommended solutions.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on an equivalent combination of education and experience as follows:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management
or
3 full years (54 hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management
or
A graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks
